OH BOY! i think a light just came on! I have been struggling BIG time the last couple of weeks, but i think i might have just turned the corner. So my issue was understanding the external CSS. No matter what i did….made it worse. Don’t get me wrong 3schools has been amazing but littlewebhut.com is awfully nice. Similar but same info explained differently and it started clicking. Wow! I am thinking I’m starting to get it! the philosophy behind it is starting to make sense. Then you run into that one code you cant find whats wrong HOWEVER with patience you can overcome it. So i had a couple scenarios where i thought the wriging was exactly like the Professor or tuto and it still didn’t give me the results i was looking for. For instance in week 5, we were challenged with getting a certtain response if they are missing info. Couldn’t get it to act right at all.

Making strides in getting comfortable with where I am in designing. For some reason I hit a wall and has had trouble rebounding from that. Alas, I move forward and trying to catch up to where the rest of my peers are. Fascinating designs out there which is encouraging in itself.

Ok transparent moment for me. Totally got overwhelmed when it didn’t start to make sense and unfortunately shutdown.

However, I am back in the thick of things trying to catch up. Some of the interesting things I’ve learned from this week is still on CSS. Making sure you are creating the links so the pages can communicate was interesting. Also understanding how one change can impact them all if you connected them properly.

As I am moving forward in this course, i am really enjoying the progress I am making. I am very excited to dive a little deeper into my course project. It has the possibility of impacting the youth organization where I am the President. The development I am making will help me create the best product for the young people. Awesome.

Wow, interesting how things happen. I have just created a group from my youth org to create website…and here i am learning that same thing!!! whaaa??? lol. Anyhoo. This blog is for my current session(Web Design with Professor Seely) @ DeVry where I am pursuing a degree at 54. I would be the first one among my siblings to achieve this so it’s kinda a big deal in my mind.

Not going to well already and already sent an email to the Professor. Ugh.
